There are only 25 days from the opening of the 2018 Bigfork Independent Film Festival (BIFF) and there is still lots that needs to get done. The indie films being shown have been chosen, the film blocks have been decided, and the program is now finalized.
The festival has added two new features this time: they will be showing 2 first-run, Montana-made films in the evenings, The Ballad of Lefty Brown on Friday and Walking Out on Saturday. They are offering a free film block on Friday afternoon for the public. For more details on the festival check out their website: bigforkfilmfestival.com.
Now is the time to find volunteers! If you want to volunteer they could use help with ushering, box office, and concessions. They will teach you everything you need to know, and you can pick the days and blocks that you want to help out with. There will be plenty of time for breaks and to watch some movies too. Each film block lasts 3-4 hours long, and there are 3 blocks each day starting at 1 pm, 4 pm and 8 pm. They need as many people volunteering as possible. If you are interested in helping out please email Steve Shapero directly at firstname.lastname@example.org and he will find a volunteer position, time, and day that’s right for you.
