Montana filmmakers! As we’re sure you are aware, the COVID-19 virus (coronavirus) has unfortunately affected all events around the globe. As we all face an unknown time frame for how long closures and quarantines will stay in effect, we have made a commitment to protect the health of our filmmakers and the general public. To help prevent any further outbreak of the virus, the 48 Hour Film Project has decided to postpone our upcoming Missoula 48 Hour Film Project competition.
The competition originally slated for the weekend of 5/15-5/17/20, with screenings/awards on 5/30/20 have been cancelled. However, we are not cancelling the competition!
The good news is that our awesome Missoula partner for our kick-off & screenings events, the The Roxy Theater , has graciously agreed to let us to postpone.
New competition & screening dates are as follows:
Competition weekend: 9/25-9/27/20
Film screenings and awards: 10/3/20
The Big Question: What do we do now?
Thank you for your understanding. As of now, we fully expect to move forward with this new Missoula 48HFP competition date and screenings. We will keep you updated as things progress, or if anything changes. If you have any further questions, please contact your city producers Kris or Krk directly at: firstname.lastname@example.org
We love films and the people who make them, and our hope is to keep everyone safe and happy and making awesome 48-hour films throughout the year!
