Missoula, MT – The Montana Film Office is proud to announce a partnership with Montana Repertory Theater’s Colony 18 to host a workshop focusing on script writing for television with guest presenters, multi-time Emmy nominees Ron Fitzgerald and Cusi Cram.
The workshop will be hosted on Saturday, July 13th at 9:00 a.m. in the PARTV center on the University of Montana Campus. There will be a breakfast circle with the guest artists, followed by hour and half-hour workshops with Fitzgerald and Cram, with a staged reading of a new sitcom written by Fitzgerald in the evening.
Workshops like this are part of the Montana Film Office’s continued commitment to supporting and providing opportunity to the Montanans who work in the industry both in- and out-of-state. “A great project starts with a great story,” says Film Commissioner Deny Staggs, “and being able to join with partners like Colony 18 and offer writers an opportunity to hone their skills is very exciting for us.”
