Casting Call: Short Film, Billings, Summer 2020

We are looking for 3 roles for a short film to be shot in Billings, MT summer 2020. The work load will be one day approximately 10 hours of work. The short film will be scary in nature with some violence and gore, no nudity. Due to the recent health concerns with the Covid-19 outbreak we will be auditioning virtually. We will work in accordance with the state’s guidelines but hope to be able to film late July or August.  Applicants need to be over the age of 18, this is a paid position. Non-union shoot.

Role1:
Game Warden
Male
conservative look preferred.
45-70 (All ages will be considered)

Role 2:
The Hip Witch
Female
Ear piercings and tattoos a plus
age 18-40

Role 3:
Axe Murder
Male
Height requirement must be over 6′
Facial hair preferred will need to shave for prosthetic.
age 27-42

Please include a headshot, and links to your IMDB page and a talent reel or recent sample of work if you have. If you’re selected to do a reading we will send you some sides and have you do a cold reading via camera. All you need is cell phone no need to go crazy for your read. If you are selected for a final call back we will contact you to setup a zoom meeting or google hangout so we can get a feel for your personality and our director can understand if you’re right for the role.

• We will be conducting online meetings the week of May 25th.
• We will announce the cast on Monday June 1st.
