Columbia University Film MFA – thesis film (Writer/Director won a grant. Filmed by award-winning cinematographer Alejandro Mejia.)
The story of a co-dependent mother/daughter relationship and the daughter’s fear and need to separate from her mom as she goes off to college.
Doctor: (Male, 50s-70s) A celebrated geneticist who knows how good he is. Good bedside manner comes less easily to him, but he tries. $125/ 1 day
Nurse: (Female, 40s-50s) Was once always cheerful but the job has worn her down and made her more cynical/skeptical. $125/ 1 day
Hospital Resident: (Male or Female, late 20’s-30’s) Shy, nervous medical student eager to prove his/her worth. (no lines, but in pivotal scene) $75/ 1 day
University of Montana ID Center Employee (Female or Male, 30s-50s) Calm and collected, nothing ever ruffles him/her. $75 / 1 day
Actors will receive a copy of the finished film in Spring 2020.
Filming dates: Each actor is needed for part of one day within August 28th-Sept. 1st window. Will know which exact date for each scene in mid-late August.
Audition times: auditions begin August 9th
