In addition to ten days of screenings, the festival features the Big Sky DocShop, a five-day industry event and filmmaker’s forum including panels, master classes, workshops and the Big Sky Pitch for works in progress. BSDFF is a competitive event for features, shorts, mini docs and the Big Sky Award with cash awards for winners and Academy Award qualification for winners in the Short and Mini-Doc categories.
