Blacktail Mountain |
In driving to the mountain top, regardless of whether you are an expert or novice skier/snowboarder, everyone starts at the top on Blacktail Mountain. Views from Flathead Lake to Glacier Park and of the Mission, Whitefish and Cabinet Ranges surround. On this "upside-down hill" you have a top to bottom run in before riding a chair! There are over 1000 acres of National Forest and 1440' of vertical elevation. The mountain has four operating chair lifts as well as a terrain park complete with 20' straight rail, shotgun rail, 8' box, 20' box, and two roller jumps. The average annual snowfall is 250" and there is always 100% natural snow. Click here for more photos.
