Bull River


The Bull River in Northwest Montana begins its journey at the southeast corner of Bull Lake,elev.2400.It flows into the Clark Fork River at Cabinet Gorge Reservoir near the Idaho border,elev.2175. The river is a mix of slow flowing water at its source and picks up the last few miles into Gorge. In total the river is just over 26 miles long. The area is beautiful as there are Mountains on both side of the river.The Cabinet Wilderness is to the east. A lot of game is in the area. Fishing is mostly for the various species of trout.
