| Just Northeast of the classic Montana town of Lewistown sits one of our more unique locations. The
Lewistown Radar site is perched atop a barren mountain with 360 degree views of Montana's rolling hills, prairies, and mountains.
It is currently home to an array of modern communications towers, but in the 60's was part of the national Early Warning
System. At the base of the mountain there is military style compound and barracks left from the 60's. This place certainly
has a unique look, so next time the script calls or an alien landing sequence, a period military installation, or even just
a top of the world viewpoint, think Montana. |
